Q.

Do you have classes?

A.

We have a class timetable which can be found on our website. We have over 100 free classes including Zumba, Spin, Aerobics, Yoga, Circuits and Abs. All classes are at no extra cost. To take part in a class, simply turn up before the class has started. We now offer virtual classes, over 10 of which you can bring your children to.

What are virtual classes?

A.

In both our spin and main studio we have a screen which will play scheduled classes for you to join in with. There are so many classes to choose from and they are all free!

Do you have personal trainers?

A.

Yes, we have a team of fully qualified personal trainers. For more information on personal training please take a look at our team profiles and contact the trainer that suits you. The team profiles can be found using the link at the bottom of the page.

How do I get my entry PIN number?

A.

Once you have paid for your membership you will be sent a PIN number to your mobile. This will be your six digit number to enter and exit the gym.

What are your opening hours?

A.

The gym is open 6am to 10:30pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 10pm Saturday and 8am to 8pm Sunday. On Bank Holidays we are open 8am-8pm.

How do I hire a locker?

A.

Please speak to a member of staff in the office and they will be able to assist with that.

Do you have free weights?

A.

Yes we have the biggest free weight area in Sutton. We have over 10 adjustable benches, dumbbells up to 60kg, 2 squat racks, over 7 olympic bars, EZ bars, hex bar, flat and decline bench press, smith machine, plate loaded machines, plus much more.

Do you have showers and changing rooms?

A.

Yes, male and female changing rooms with showers, toilets, lockers and hairdryers.

Do you have lockers?

A.

Yes, we have lockers in both male and female changing rooms. You will need to bring your own padlock for the lockers, but this cannot be left on a locker overnight, unless you have hired a locker.

Will I be shown how to use the equipment?

A.

Yes, we provide a free induction for all new members, in which one of our fully qualified personal trainers will show you how to use the equipment. There is always a member of staff in the building who can assist you further if required.

I'm just visiting the area can I just join for the weekend?

A.

Yes, you can sign up for a single day's membership, ideal for people on business that don't want to use their small hotel gym or a good idea if you want a day's trial.

If I am not a member how do I gain entry to the gym?

A.

In the entrance lobby you will see a doorbell located next to the right entrance pod, please press if you require any assistance. Alternatively you can call us on either 0208 770 7636

Is the website secure?

A.

Yes, the signup section of the website is secure, and any details entered will be encrypted before being sent to the server.

When are you staffed?

A.

We are staffed for all our opening hours.

Q.

Do you do day memberships?

A.

Yes we do. It is £6.99 for a day and this can be purchased on the website by clicking the Join button. Please complete the sign up process and select the daily option. This must be done on the day you wish to use the gym. If you want to come an additional time then simply sign into our website and put another payment through.

Q.

Can I share my PIN code with my friends?

A.

No, your PIN code is personal to you. PIN abuse will not be tolerated. To enter the gym you need to enter your PIN at the entrance door, to exit the club you need to PIN out preventing simultaneous access. Events of misuse will always result in a life time ban, as the only way we can maintain our low prices is to ensure each user has their own account. Our entrance pod software automatically checks CCTV and highlights PIN abuse.

Do you open on bank holidays?

A.

Yes, we do open on bank holidays, our opening hours are 8am-8pm.

Q.

Are all memberships recurring payments?

A.

The monthly membership is our only recurring membership. Our day, six and twelve month memberships are one off payments.

Q.

Do you have a swimming pool and sauna?

A.

No. Swimming pools and saunas are expensive (so we'd have to considerably increase our prices to you) and would stop us offering such a great rate, so we've decided to keep things simple and focus on providing a high quality gym experience, at a very low price.

Are you always open?

A.

We are only closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

Q.

How do I cancel my membership?

A.

The best way to cancel your membership is to email your cancellation request to info@go-gym.co.uk We do ask for 2 weeks notice for cancellations and recommend you also cancel direct debits with your bank.

Q.

I used to be a member of the gym. How can I re-join?

A.

Sign into our website with the email and password you previously used. You will then be able to select what membership you want and pay online.

Q.

How much notice do you require to cancel a monthly membership?

A.

We require 2 weeks notice to cancel a membership. Please email us with your full name, date of birth and reason for cancelling to this address info@go-gym.co.uk

What happens if I lose my PIN number?

A.

You can sign in on our website and request for your PIN to be sent to your mobile. Alternitely give us a call on 0208 770 7636

Q.

Can I freeze my six or twelve month membership?

A.

Unfortunately you are not able to freeze memberships. If you are not sure how long you plan to use the gym for, then select the monthly membership option.

Q.

Do you have any other Go-Gym's in the UK?

A.

Currently we only have one location in Sutton.

Q.

Can I pay for someone elses membership?

A.

Yes. On the payment page of the sign up process you will need to enter the details of the card holder. Ensure it is the correct name, address and card details.

Q.

I haven't been using the gym. Can I get a refund.

A.

Unfortunately we are unable to refund your membership if you haven't been coming to the gym.

Q.

Do you have water foutains in the gym?

A.

Yes. We have a water fountain on both floors of the gym. There is also a vending machine located at the entrance, which sells bottled water.

Q.

How old do I have to be to join the gym?

A.

You must be 16 years or over to join Go-Gym.

Q.

Can I bring my children with me?

A.

We have over 10 virtual classes on our timetable that you can bring your children to if they are under 16 years. They must be accompanied at all times.

Q.

Do you have WIFI?

A.

Yes we do, you will be given the password when you become a member of Go Gym.

Q.

What other services do you offer?

A.

We have a protein bar to cater for your pre and post workout needs. Mix whichever flavours you fancy, you make the rules. We also have a coffee machine serving Lavazza coffee.

Q.

Do you have an off peak membership?

A.

Yes our off peak membership is £19.99 a month and allows you to use the gym Monday - Friday 9am-4pm.
